The ThermalWeld line of vinyl windows are the American traditional window as designed by Polaris. Tough Polaris vinyl and welded corners provide the strength. 7/8‘’ insulated glass provide the comfort and energy savings. Both the top and bottom sash tilt completely inside which helps to make cleaning a snap.

The ValuSmart Series double hung window provides high energy efficiency and limited maintenance. They are standard with welded corners on the frame and sash, easy to clean tilt in sash, and a true position balance system. They combine maximum thermal efficiency with beautiful looks and a host of options at an affordable price.

All Polaris windows are tested and certified by industry leading agencies: NFRC and AAMA. Our Polaris vinyl replacement windows feature energySmart Supreme2 Low-E glass. Polaris EnergySmart Supreme2 Low-E glass uses the PPG Intercept Warm Edge Spacer system and meets all requirements for the 2011 Federal Tax Credits for Consumer Energy Efficiency.

We were founded in 1944, operating out of a one room rented building as a wholesaler of specialty exterior building products. The company was built on the sales and service of high quality products sold directly to builders and remodellers. By the early 1960’s, we began manufacturing storm windows and storm doors in our first manufacturing plant in Youngstown, Ohio. In 1979, we became one of the early pioneers of the vinyl replacement window industry. By then our products were being distributed in Ohio and the five surrounding states. In 1990 the company greatly expanded its window and door products and designs by the introduction of the Polaris window and door system. At this time the manufacturing division was renamed Polaris Technologies.

Today Polaris Technologies distributes its products in 38 states. Polaris Technologies is recognized throughout the industry as a dynamic leader in product innovation and design. We are often chosen by leading vendors in the industry to partner on the development and prototyping of new industry innovations. We currently operate within two plants, which total nearly 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space in the Youngstown, OH area. Our products are thoroughly tested in-house within our own research and development facility as well as going through rigid testing from outside independent testing laboratories.
